On day 2 of our camp we were spoiled yet again by having 2 different companies providing us with yummy treats. Marie-Claire from Marie-Claire Cooks (https://marieclarecooks.com/) provided us with an abundance of delicious sandwiches and bagels as well as scrummy chocolate brownies and we were also fortunate enough to try heavenly mini pies and sausage rolls from The Aussie Pie Shop (https://www.theaussiepieshop.com/)! WOWEEEE! The kids couldn't get enough of the food!!
Thankfully the weather held out for us as we pitted kids AGAINST parents in a series of really fun games. We started off with an assault course and to make it harder for the parents we had them put on silly fancy dress outfits whilst running the length of the course as well as trying to balance a glass of water on a tray. It was absolutely hilarious!! The kids obviously won.
We then finished off the day playing in one big football game with the kids vs the adults. There was an abundance of yellow and red cards (for the parents - the kids were very well behaved), one AMAZING goal by our new Coach, Big D and thankfully there were no sending offs. Final score was 4-2 to the kids. Well done Penguins!
